Our Catholic Faith

Emerald Heights Academy is a classical school in the Catholic tradition that upholds and teaches the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).

Below, we highlight aspects of our faith taken directly from the Catechism that influence our approach to educating our students.

We love our students by leading them into God’s plan. In carrying out this calling, we believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (CCC 357) 

​Human beings made in the image of God In creating us male and female, God gives man and woman an equal personal dignity. (CCC 2334)

Scripture and Tradition are the twin pillars of God’s Revelation, Holy Scripture and Apostolic Tradition. (CCC 80) 

We trust in the Church's interpretation of the Word of God. (CCC 85)
