Emergency & Safety
If EHA determines the needs to close the school due to a variety of circumstances, including weather, we advise our parents to listen to media announcements and/or access www.schoolreport.org. Through these means, EHA administrators will inform families of school closings or delays as soon as possible.
If an emergency occurs that makes the building unsafe for occupancy as determined by TDHS, then every effort will be made to stay on campus in the parking lot for as long as it is safe to do so. However, if the ground or area around the school are determined not safe enough, EHA had arranged for an alternate location off campus at the Crossroads Bible Church. This church is located at 15815 SE 37th Street, Bellevue, near the end of 37th Ave., which runs parallel to I-90 highway. (Phone: 425-747-6750). See map below or click on Church's link for detailed direction.
In the event of an emergency in which students are evacuated from the building, students will not be released in the typical manner. Our procedure will be to ask all parents, family members and friends noted on the Student Dismissal Release form to show picture identification. Please have your ID ready. We appreciate your support as Emerald Heights Academy strives to follow government recommended guidelines.
